Experience:
Master's degree/BBA/MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Professional qualifications such as CA (CC), ACCA (Part Qualified/Qualified), or CMA (Part Qualified/Qualified) will be given preference.
Experience in a Public Limited Company, multinational company, or reputed CA firm is highly preferred.
Practical experience in preparing financial statements under BFRS/BAS is essential.
Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS) and Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS).
Strong understanding of the Companies Act, 1994 (as amended), BSEC regulations, and Corporate Governance Code.
Knowledge of listing regulations of DSE/CSE and statutory disclosure requirements.
Familiarity with applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act and VAT & Supplementary Duty Act affecting financial reporting.
Experience in statutory audit coordination and financial statement preparation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP-based financial reporting systems.
Strong analytical, technical, documentation, and report-writing skills.
Prepare standalone and consolidated annual financial statements in accordance with Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS), Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS), and the Companies Act, 1994 (as amended).
Prepare quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements and disclosures as required by regulatory authorities.
Ensure proper application of accounting standards and disclosure requirements in all statutory financial reports.
Prepare notes to the financial statements and supporting schedules.
Coordinate the preparation and review of annual reports, including financial statements and statutory disclosures.
Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) regulations, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE)/Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) listing requirements, and other applicable corporate laws.
Coordinate with external auditors throughout the statutory audit process.
Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Respond to audit queries and facilitate timely resolution of audit observations.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
Support management in obtaining an unqualified audit opinion.
Prepare financial reports, presentations, and supporting papers for the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Assist in preparing directors' reports and financial information included in the Annual Report.
