Responsibilities & Context:
Pattern Making
Develop patterns for new styles based on technical sheets, sketches, and measurements.
Ensure patterns maintain correct fit, balance, and construction requirements.
Make necessary pattern adjustments during fittings.
Marker Making
Prepare efficient markers to optimize fabric utilization.
Ensure markers follow size ratios, grain lines, and cutting room standards.
Grading
Grade patterns across different sizes according to buyer specifications or standard measurement charts.
Ensure accuracy and proportionality across all graded sizes.
Consumption Calculation
Calculate fabric and accessories consumption for sampling and bulk production.
Provide accurate consumption details to the merchandising and production teams.
Software Expertise
Preferred software is Tuka/Lecra/Optitex
Managing overall follow up of Sample Section activities.
