Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare case files and coordinate with external lawyers for ongoing disputes related to labors, factory, land and property.
- Attend court hearings, tribunals or arbitration sessions as required.
- Assist in preparing lease agreements, tenancy contracts and joint venture agreements.
- Monitor contract timelines, renewals and obligations.
- Draft, review and vet legal documents related to land purchase, lease, sale, development or transfer.
- Ensure proper execution and registration of deeds and agreements.
- Conduct due diligence and verify land ownership and title documents.
- Communicate with land registry offices, sub-registrars, local government bodies and other related departments.
- Ensure compliance with land-related laws and administrative processes.
- Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant property and land laws, including zoning, land use and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a database of all legal land documents, litigation records and legal correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper archiving of legal files.
- Provide legal advice to management on labour law/factory/land/property-related matters.
- Identify legal risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
