Job Context:
∎ The position is for a leading company, a provider of state of the art diesel generator, transformer, substation, bus bar trucking system and Power solution with excellent service and maintenance support.
∎ The Incumbent will be responsible to improve the organization`s market position and achieve year to year business growth. S/he will have to define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationship, identify business opportunities, analysis to manage gap, assist to negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ - Plan, communicate and execute sales strategies for the CW business to achieve or better result;
∎ - Identify business opportunities and develop new projects through relationships and submission of qualifications and proposals; ·
∎ - Develop project presentation, scoping documents, understand legal agreements; · Develop the sales strategy for the company in line with company objectives "Complete Power Solution"
∎ -Establish two-way communication channels to convey business strategies and plan in a manner that engages people from both internal and external immediate teams.
∎ -Build performance resolve; provide support to team; demonstrate decisiveness / action.
∎ -Demonstrate and support Managers and Engineers with customer negotiation and persuasive selling to drive sales outcomes.
∎ -Meet all required reporting and initiative deadline
∎ -Make sure team are fulfilling their responsibilities with rigor and accountability.
∎ -Communicate operational issues and priorities to maximize focus on achievement of sales and customer service objectives.
∎ -Set clear performance expectations and goals through implementation and management of performance planning and review processes.
∎ -Ensure all business plans, tactics and organizationally cascading information is communicated clearly and in a timely manner.
∎ -Liaise and network with relevant industry bodies
∎ -Research into relationships that should be developed and manage effective partnerships with existing and new key corporate partners, NGOs, Government, media and funders.
∎ -Always represent the company in a professional manner and with integrity, act as an advocate for the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven ability to manage senior management groups across a diversity of disciplines.
∎ Proven success within a sales territory (multi segment / regional experience
∎ preferred).
∎ Demonstrated ability to develop, present and implement business plans.
∎ Proven success in negotiating commercially sound business agreements.
∎ Sound financial (discipline) background.
∎ Proven leadership capability in a medium / large organization and ability to train up
∎ people in line with necessity.
∎ Previous industry experience (engineering products).
∎ Professional trainings in different disciplines.
