Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure Front Office operation is accordance with resort standards, maintaining a superior level of services at all times, ensuring all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner reaching and maximizing Guest's Satisfactions scores.
∎ Maintain a high quality of service and physical standard at FOH
∎ Ensure staff have a sound general knowledge of all resort services, facilities and packages
∎ Work within resort budgeted guidelines and ensure all sub-departments adhere to these guidelines.
∎ Responsible in controlling over profit and loss of Front Office. Develop plans and strategies to ensure business development.
∎ Ensure the constant update of SOP's, ensuring the implementation and training thereof and that operational standards are enforced.
∎ Responsible for supervising, mentoring and leading the reservations team of the resort. He/she will train the new team members as well as create a culture where each team member will always be desirous of sharpening their knowledge, skill and attitude.
∎ Ensure room allocation as per instructions and requirements.
∎ Work in conjunction with accounting to maintain and minimize levels of account receivables and ensure that accounts are sent to ledger timeously, and that problem accounts are dealt with immediately.
∎ Follow-up on the open balance status on a daily basis and liaise with the Accounts Manager to ensure that payment for departed functions/groups and guests is received promptly
∎ Be fully responsible for guest profiles and that they are correctly recorded and maintained according to standard policies and procedures
∎ Co-operate with Housekeeping and Engineering regarding to the daily maintenance of the room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of room accommodation while maintaining high levels of guest expectations.
∎ Be responsible for daily management of guest activities related to hotel operations.
∎ Work closely with other department HOD's to ensure all guest's requests are handled efficiently and effectively.
∎ Act as Manager on Duty occasionally and respond to any crisis or emergencies and perform service recoveries.
∎ Interview, select and train front office employees according to resort guidelines.
∎ Review monthly budget figures and report on variances.
∎ Conduct daily briefings and once per month a department meeting. Circulate any important information to FO team for the same practical understanding.
∎ Perform any other duties as instructed by the General Manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2 years of management experience.
∎ Previous experience in all areas of Front Office.
∎ Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
∎ Must have a high level of written and spoken English comprehension.
