Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance Accounting
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Professional Certification: CA partly qualified, Income Tax Practitioner,Tax (VAT Customs Duty Income Tax)

∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Govt. Affairs, Tax, VAT
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Company Affairs Task:
∎ RJSC annual return filling and preservation of related documents
∎ Taking minutes, drafting resolutions, lodging required forms and annual returns with the Companies.
∎ Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and taking appropriate action
∎ Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors
∎ Organizing and preparing agendas and papers for board meetings, and annual general meetings (AGMs)
∎ Tax Matter Task:
∎ Prepare the Annual Financial Statement for Tax purposes
∎ Calculate income tax liability of Companies, Employees, Directors and Expatriate and give advice or suggest for reducing tax burden.
∎ Prepare or review income tax return files of Directors, Companies, Foreign Expatriate & Employees and ensure submitting such return in due time.
∎ Presence for hearing, assessment & settlement of income tax with DCT, ACT, and JCT and obtain clearance certificate of income tax from NBR.
∎ Ensure deduction at source of all AIT & VAT from supplier or service provider and deposit it to the Bangladesh Bank as per applicable rules & regulations
∎ Filling appeal to the Commissioner of Taxes (Appeal), filling 2nd Appeal to the Appellate Commissioner of Taxes Appellate Tribunal, and also filling Appeal to the High Court with written argument in favor of the assesses for getting tax benefits.
∎ Ensure proper compliance with VAT & Tax laws within the company, also ensure proper compliance and keep updated with the changes brought in finance act to ensure its proper implementation in the business procedure, wherever applicable.
∎ To ensure and complete all works for tax in accordance with accounts department so that tax files to be submitted duly.
∎ To prepare and ensure all supporting documents related with the tax accounts.
∎ Preparation of withholding tax returns and submitted to the tax authority.
∎ Any other activities assigned by the management from time to time
∎ VAT Affairs Task:
∎ Have to handle all the VAT related works of the company.
∎ Maintaining all Musak, VAT Book, VAT Current Accounts & Other VAT papers.
∎ Keep all the VAT registers updated, issue VAT Chalan and maintain the records, registers & documents conforming to VAT & Tax laws in a timely manner.
∎ Check documents, prepare & submit VAT Return and ensure its submission to relevant authorities with due diligence.
∎ Handle VAT Audit conducted by NBR, AG and other Government Authorities.
∎ Keep liaison with VAT office and Government regulatory bodies and coordinate VAT activities.
∎ Prepare Export documents and all VAT related documents properly
∎ To keep active liaison with relevant offices and agencies.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax and Company Affairs.)

∎ Nice Presentation skills including power point
