• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related discipline.

• Strong design sense with the ability to develop commercially successful collections.

• Excellent knowledge of non-denim woven and knit fabrics.

• Good understanding of fabric sourcing and leading fabric mills.

• Strong buyer communication and relationship management skills.

• Excellent market and fashion trend analysis capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design software will be an advantage.

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple development projects.

Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced professional for the position of Manager / Assistant Manager – Product Development (Non-Denim). The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and ensuring effective financial management of the organization.

• Develop innovative non-denim garment collections for both tops and bottoms.

• Research fashion trends and create seasonal product concepts based on market demand.

• Design and develop new products, including fabric, trims, wash, and garment details.

• Maintain strong knowledge of woven and knit non-denim fabrics and their applications.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers to support business development and new opportunities.

• Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure smooth product development.

• Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer requirements to introduce new product ideas.

• Prepare presentations, mood boards, and sample developments for buyer meetings.

• Ensure timely development of samples while maintaining quality and commercial viability.
