Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources/Finance/Accounting.

Professional training or certification in Payroll Management, Taxation, or Compensation & Benefits is highly preferred.

4-7 years of experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Tax Management.§  Proven experience managing compensation & benefits for multiple business units.

Strong working knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws, income tax regulations, provident fund rules, and statutory compliance. 

High proficiency in payroll systems, HRIS, and Excel (advanced level).



Responsibilities & Context:

- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing across business units, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely disbursement.

- Independently handle employee income tax calculation, TDS, annual tax planning, certificates, and full compliance with Bangladesh tax laws.

- Administer incentives, bonuses, and variable pay, coordinating with HR, Finance, and business heads for validation and timely payouts.

- Manage Provident Fund (PF) enrollment, contributions, submissions, withdrawals, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

- Prepare, monitor, and control payroll and C&B overhead budgets; analyze cost trends, variances, forecasts, and optimization opportunities.

- Maintain payroll systems, compensation data, statutory records, and generate periodic payroll, tax, PF, and cost reports.

- Ensure compliance with company C&B policies, Bangladesh Labor Law, and statutory regulations; support audits and policy changes.

- Act as the single point of contact for all payroll, compensation, benefits, and statutory matters.
