Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

· Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within the real estate sector or from a reputed consultancy firm.

· Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro), AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.

· Strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and regulations.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

· Proficiency in both Bangla and English.

· Ability to work in both office and field environments, with occasional visits to construction sites around Dhaka City.



Responsibilities & Context:

· Perform or check structural analysis using software like ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc.

· Check detailed drawings and specifications that consultants submitted.

· Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and standards.

· Maintain detailed records of design calculations, construction procedures, and inspection results.

· Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers.

· Review and approve project designs to align construction plans.

· Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and resolve any structural issues.

· Provide structural solutions of site issues raised by project team.

· Investigate structural failures and recommend corrective actions.

· Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project progress.

· Offer technical advice and solutions to clients and stakeholders.

· Prepare reports and presentations for project stakeholders.

· Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

· Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
