Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare and cook fresh, tasty, and high-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a hygienic manner, ensuring timely completion.
Complete cooking tasks within the specified time frame.
Clean fish, meat, vegetables, rice, pulses, and other ingredients essential for cooking.
Minimize food wastage to control costs.
Properly wrap and store cooked food after preparation.
Maintain a hygienic cooking environment at all times.
Regularly clean kitchen utensils and crockery used in the canteen.
Ensure cleanliness of the canteen basin and kitchen area.
Maintain cleanliness of dining tables and chairs.
Ensure overall cleanliness of the canteen and its premises.
Serve fresh, quality food in a hygienic manner.
Provide clean and fresh drinking water, along with essential food items, when required.
Purchase essential food items from the local market and ensure they meet required standards.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the authority.
