Job Responsibilities:
∎ To vetting land documents, verify other documents, collect certified copies of khatian, deeds, judgment, decree from concern offices, courts etc.
∎ Presentation of legal issues to management with analysis, options, and recommendations.
∎ Find appropriate legal representation for clients in criminal and civil litigation and other legal proceedings.
∎ Conduct proceedings on company behalf in court.
∎ To meet with landowners, lawyers regarding land issues.
∎ To maintain cordial communication with concern government offices.
∎ Manage all the matters both Judge Court as well as High Court.
∎ Preparing various kinds of (specially land and apartment related) deeds and agreements relating to property transfer and mortgage and in due course registration of the same with the Sub-Registrar Office
∎ Draft and /or review legal letters, contracts and agreements and monitor legal obligations under agreements to ensure compliance, as required by the Company from time to time.
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information
∎ Providing legal opinion on different issues including land & company matters.
∎ Cases follow up with Panel Lawyers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in Land Law, Civil & Criminal Law and other related activities.
∎ Knowledge of Land Law (Agreement, Registration, Mutation, Land-acquisition & civil case related), Inheritance law (Muslim Law & Hindu Law).
∎ Good knowledge about (i) Transfer of Property Act, 1882, (ii) State Acquisition and Tenancy Act, 1950, (iii) Registration Act, 1908, (iv) Contract Act, 1872, (v) Stamp Act, 1899, (vi) Land Reforms Ordinance, 1984, (vii) Bangladesh Land Holding Limitation Order, 1972, (viii) Artha Rin Adalat Ain, 2003 and (ix) The Companies Act, 1994.
∎ Preferable for Survey Knowledge.
∎ Much Preferable for job-experience from Land-/Real estate /asset based Company.
∎ Preferable for persons having Civil Court Practice (also practical criminal law procedures).
∎ Sound knowledge in English & Computer (MS Word, MS Excel) will get preference.
Salary: Negotiable
