Responsibilities & Context:
Lead end-to-end distribution operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of finished goods.
Coordinate closely with Production, Sales & Marketing, and customers to align dispatch plans with demand.
Plan, optimize, and manage transportation based on route planning and cost efficiency.
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and stock accuracy.
Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to minimize stock discrepancies.
Ensure on-time delivery execution as per sales orders and distribution schedules.
Monitor and report delivery performance, pending orders, and transportation costs.
Drive ERP accuracy in challan processing, stock reconciliation, and delivery documentation.
Supervise warehouse and logistics staff to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and efficiency.
Control loading operations to prevent product damage and ensure optimal vehicle utilization.
Manage vehicle operations, maintenance, and logistics-related expenses within budget.
Analyze monthly distribution data (volume, value, growth) and provide actionable insights.
Address customer complaints related to delivery and ensure quick resolution.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness of all distribution records.
