Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the management of sales operations within the assigned territory.
∎ Propose and drive continuous enhancements in the territory's distributor infrastructure, processes, and distribution networks.
∎ Evaluate the needs of potential distributors, leading negotiations, facilitating selection, and initiating initial training processes.
∎ Conduct regular reviews of the performance of all distributors in the territory, establishing improvement targets as necessary.
∎ Set and monitor sales targets for each Territory Manager (TM) and distributor, conducting monthly reviews.
∎ Develop SKU-wise quarterly sales forecasts for the territory, collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for demand review meetings.
∎ Conduct market visits to identify retail outlets and introduce them to the company's product portfolio.
∎ Strategically divide the territory into routes for Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) visits, approving weekly schedules prepared by TMs.
∎ Report any counterfeit products to the corporate legal and quality teams.
∎ Effectively manage relationships with Modern Trade and Institutional customers.
∎ Scan an initial list of prospective distributors meeting the target profiles set by RSM, shortlisting them for initial pitch meetings.
∎ Conduct distributor appointments and serve as the primary point of contact for all distributor-related concerns.
∎ Ensure maintenance of distributor Return on Investment (ROI) in accordance with company policies.
∎ Oversee merchandising activities and develop placement plans during routine market visits.
∎ Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

∎ Skills:
∎ Masters in any discipline with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience.
∎ Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving sales targets.
∎ Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms with distributors and other stakeholders.
∎ Analytical Thinking: Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
∎ Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, distributors, and other business partners.
∎ Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the FMCG sector in Bangladesh, including market dynamics and competitor analysis.
∎ Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth.
∎ Problem-Solving: Quick and effective problem-solving skills to address challenges in the sales operation.
∎ Relationship Building: Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
∎ Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
∎ Team Management: Experience in effectively managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
