Job Responsibilities:
∎ During the Implementation Phase:
∎ 1. Understanding the Design: He must understand comprehensive electrical plan details about power requirements, load capacity, and electrical distribution systems.
∎ 2. Electrical System Installation: An Electrical Engineer would supervise the installation of electrical systems in the detergent factory. This would involve ensuring that the wiring, grounding, and electrical fixtures are installed correctly and meet safety codes and regulations.
∎ 3. Equipment Selection and Installation: An Electrical Engineer would be involved in selecting and installing electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and other related electrical equipment.
∎ 4. Safety Standards: The Electrical Engineer will ensure that all electrical equipment, installations, and procedures adhere to safety standards and regulations.
∎ During the Operation Phase:
∎ 1. Maintenance and Repair: An Electrical Engineer would be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in the detergent factory. This would involve troubleshooting problems, repairing faults, and carrying out preventive maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the electrical systems.
∎ 2. Electrical Safety: An Electrical Engineer will ensure that the electrical systems, equipment, and procedures adhere to safety standards and regulations. They will also train the factory workers on electrical safety procedures.
∎ 3. Energy Efficiency: An Electrical Engineer will be responsible for optimizing the energy consumption of the detergent factory. This would involve identifying energy-saving opportunities and implementing energy-efficient solutions.
∎ 4. Upgrades and Expansion: An Electrical Engineer would be responsible for upgrading and expanding the electrical systems in the detergent factory as required.
∎ 5. Supervise Sub-station (HT, LT, DG set), Solar system, Pumps etc. in plant.
∎ 6. Ensure optimum utilization of energy (power, air, gas, fuel etc.) and measure units of utilities produced, utilized and waste- through monthly reporting.
∎ 7. Ensure efficiency and performance of major utility equipment i.e. Chiller, Boiler, DG set, Air Compressor including monthly reporting.
∎ 8. Prepare and execute regular validation & calibration schedules of all utility system of plant.
∎ 9. Maintain critical spare parts list and sufficient inventory with coordination of store person.
∎ 10. Ensure EHS and GMP compliances in all related area.
∎ 11. Any other task assigned by the reporting manager.
