Educational Requirements:
∎ MSS/ M.Sc. preferably in Sociology, Anthropology, Education, Political Science, Social work, Public Health, Women & Gender Studies or in any relevant discipline from reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ District level coordination with local managers, BDC and staff of respective program to ensure necessary support for CHT interventions.
∎ Supervise and assist to Officer, Gender with monthly target setting the field activities to mobilise community people & students in the gender issues especially on GBV, SH, CM.
∎ Organise, facilitate and participate in district level different meeting, dialogue, training, workshop, event etc. Develop monthly and annual action plan, meeting plan, set targets and deliver to respective supervisor.
∎ Ensure effective communication and collaboration with partner programmes and enterprises for achieving gender integration targets within timeframe.
∎ Identify operational challenges and take steps for problem solving as well as provide referral linkages related to gender based violence.
∎ Take initiative to develop capacity of staff and volunteers.
∎ Regular visit and follow up to selected platform and forum of Gender Officer's and volunteers for quality assurance purpose.
∎ Ensure regular documentation and reporting to respective supervisor.
∎ Ensure effective field based budget expenditure in collaboration with local accounts.
∎ Ensure effective local level advocacy and networking with relevant GOs and NGOs stakeholders.
∎ Organise and celebrate days and events for promoting women's rights and gender equality.
∎ Communicate with relevant GOs and NGOs stakeholders, law enforcement agencies, in district level and ensure effective local level advocacy and networking with involved them in program activity.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years professional experience in the field of gender and development, gender mainstreaming/ gender integration, women empowerment, violence against women issues of which preferably 1 year in field level managerial position.
