Job Title: Architectural Engineer

Role Context:

The Architectural Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating building projects to ensure functional, safe, and aesthetically suitable structures. The role involves working closely with design teams, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects that meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and project budgets.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design & Planning
• Prepare concept designs, detailed drawings, and 3D models for building projects.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, interior layouts, and façade concepts.
• Ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, and align with project requirements.
• Project Coordination & Technical Support
• Coordinate design work with structural, electrical, mechanical (MEP), and civil teams.
• Review and evaluate shop drawings, material submittals, and compliance with specifications.
• Attend project meetings and provide architectural input for decision-making.
• Site Supervision & Quality Control
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is executed according to drawings, standards, and finishes.
• Identify design or construction issues and propose timely solutions.
• Verify measurements, materials, and workmanship to maintain project quality.
• Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and authority requirements.
• Prepare documentation for approvals and coordinate with relevant government bodies or consultants.
• Maintain updated drawings, records, and project documentation.
• Finishing, Material Selection & Aesthetics
• Select materials, finishes, colors, and design details in coordination with the client.
• Prepare mood boards, presentation drawings, and visual design proposals.
• Cost & Time Efficiency
• Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and support timely completion within budget.
