Experience:

• At least 8 years

• At least 8 years

• A minimum of 4 to 6 years of demonstrated experience in independently designing multi-story residential and commercial projects, with a portfolio showcasing completed works required.

• Experience in contributing to mid to high-end high-rise residential and commercial project development from the planning phase through design and construction for a reputable real estate developer in Bangladesh.

• A focus on architecture is essential, and skills in interior design will be considered a plus.

• Candidates should be self-driven, proactive, and dynamic, capable of performing well under pressure.

• A strong sense of design details and aesthetics is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Imarat Nirman Bidhimala 2008 and the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) is required.

• Proficiency in visual presentation and production drawing is necessary.

• A good aesthetic sense and attention to minute design details are important.

• Familiarity with auto CAD, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp & Revit Architecture is required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English, as well as graphic communication and presentation abilities, are essential.

• Must hold a full membership with the IAB.

• A strong work ethic with a willingness to work additional hours to meet design deadlines is expected.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare a project brief for the lead architect and communicate effectively to ensure design management and obtain design deliverables within the set deadlines.

• Manage project design independently from the initial conceptual phase to the creation of construction drawings.

• Evaluate and analyze detailed architectural construction drawings, contributing additional value to the project design.

• Conduct site visits to verify adherence to the approved project design.

• Resolve design-related issues with both internal design team members and external consultants in areas such as structural, MEP, electrical, and facade design.

• Present design concepts to clients when necessary.

• Evaluate potential projects for viability by researching and analyzing relevant technology, design specifications, regulatory requirements, and market needs.

• Keep abreast of modern design elements, construction techniques, and finishing materials and technologies.

• Invent and establish new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design as needed to reduce costs and increase efficiency, ensuring the overall growth of the design department.

• Any other job assignment by the management as and when necessary.
