Job Context:
∎ Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is one of the leading national public health research organizations in Bangladesh. Currently, CIPRB is inviting application from the qualified candidates to fulfill the following vacant position immediately.
∎ Name of the Project: Enhancing social communication and emotional development in under 5 children: Intervention strategies for inclusive child care practices in Bangladesh.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with frequent travel to project sites (Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sirajganj).
∎ Duration: 1 month.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Anthropologist will provide support to the project in the following field of work-
∎ Develop guidelines for the data collection
∎ Train qualitative research assistants for field data collection
∎ Support and monitor research assistants for data collection
∎ Conduct necessary interviews with stakeholders
∎ Develop analysis plan for qualitative data
∎ Manage and analyse qualitative data
∎ Prepare a draft and final report.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1-year experience of working in public health research.
∎ Research experience with Early Childhood Development (ECD) will be given preference.
∎ Familiarity with community research-based principles.
∎ Knowledge of issues relating early childhood development
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bangla
∎ Confident in conducting Key Informant Interviews.
Salary: Negotiable
