RDRS Bangladesh is seeking application for the position of Ambulatory Treatment Promoter (ATP) under Integrated TB care and prevention Project (GFATM) in Lalmonirhat & Kurigram District.
Prepare monthly work plan in collaboration and under the guidance of District Manager and Program Officers of all upazilas of the district to ensure ambulatory treatment of all confirmed DR-TB patients.
Communicate directly with confirmed DR-TB cases and ensure necessary counseling to motivate and encourage the patients to start the treatment on time.
Ensure referral of DR-TB patients to the health facility for early enrolment following evaluation by a physician with proper baseline investigations.
Guide the DOT providers of the DR-TB patients about the treatment including adverse drug reactions and ensure their incentive for taking care of the patients throughout the treatment period.
Periodic and timely monitoring of the DR-TB patients to address any adverse drug reaction for providing support to hospitalize if required.
Ensure periodic follow-up visits, timely follow-up investigations, and social support for the DR-TB treatment adherence.
Ensure the supply of prescribed medicine to DR-TB patients from the district level and prepare quarterly medicine indent accordingly.
Ensure quality sample collection and transporting of the samples of DRTB patients from upazila/ district to NTRL/RTRL for culture/DST and monthly follow-up testing to reduce turnaround time.
Follow the guidelines of infection prevention control along with maintaining a cool transport system during sample transportation.
Collect and deliver the reports (culture/DST and follow-up tests) in proper time to respective upazila/ district to enhance the treatment adherence in ambulatory treatment.
Maintain regular coordination, communication, and liaison with upazila/district-level stakeholders including Govt. and NGO staff to reduce the diagnosis and enrolment gap and promote treatment initiation.
Maintain proper records, and contribute to the preparation of monthly/ quarterly reports and submit them in due time.
Practice and promote the organization’s gender policy and support implementation of gender equality and women empowerment at all levels.
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the program`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
