Job Context

WAC Logistics Limited (www.wacbangladesh.com) is one of the leading Freight Forwarding Company in the country involved in Air Freight, Ocean Freight & International Courier Business through our principals & overseas offices across the world. We are looking for a dedicated person to fill up the above position in our Dhaka Office:

Core Skillset:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals (Python preferred).

• Hands-on experience with NLP/LLM-based systems, embeddings, and semantic search.

• Practical experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, OpenSearch).

• Proven skill in building end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, not just calling APIs.

• Familiarity with data ingestion pipelines and unstructured data processing.

Relevant Experience:

• Projects involving internal knowledge bases, tools, copilots, or search systems.

• Experience working with data from ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk), documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, Notion), and large text corpora.

• Understanding of system evaluation for relevance, confidence, and hallucination reduction.

• Experience with automation in support or operational contexts is a plus.
