Responsibilities & Context:
Promoting and implementing policies: Agricultural officers promote and implement policies that support sustainable farming practices.
Supporting farmers: Agricultural officers provide guidance and support to helper, including advising on crop selection and educating them on new technologies.
Monitoring crops: Agricultural officers monitor crop health and ensure sustainable farming practices.
Pest control: Agricultural officers play a role in pest control.
Collecting and analyzing data: Agricultural officers collect and analyze data on agricultural activities.
Conducting field visits: Agricultural officers conduct field visits to monitor policy implementation.
Organizing training: Agricultural officers organize training and workshops.
Preparing reports: Agricultural officers prepare reports.
Collaborating with other officers: Agricultural officers collaborate with other agriculture officers.
Maintaining records: Agricultural officers maintain accurate records and documents on agricultural activities, outcomes, and challenges.
