Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Age between 40–50 preferred.
∎ Strong understanding of bond regulations, import-export policies, SROs, and regulatory reporting portals.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools relevant to commercial operations.
∎ Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the entire Commercial Department ensuring alignment with business objectives.
∎ Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies related to import-export operations.
∎ Monitor bond license audit, renewal, and bond limit (one-time/yearly) as per requirements.
∎ Liaise with BGMEA, MTMA,BKMEA, BIDA, and other government bodies for licenses and regulatory matters.
∎ Execute and monitor all L/C-related activities: vendor communication, opening/amending L/Cs, document handling, and shipment tracking.
∎ Manage customs clearance processes including In-bond, Ex-bond, and Inter-bond operations independently.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate submission of documents for customs audits and follow-ups.
∎ Preserve and manage complete documentation related to import-export activities.
∎ Maintain strong liaison with suppliers, port authorities, shipping agents, banks, and insurance companies.
∎ Oversee inbound and outbound payment flows (L/Cs, TT, etc.) with accuracy and control.
∎ Coordinate closely with the logistics team to ensure timely arrival and clearance of goods.
∎ Develop and maintain Time & Action plans; ensure proper recordkeeping of L/Cs, payments, and delivery timelines.
∎ Standardize import-export documentation processes to reduce delays and improve compliance.
∎ Provide monthly performance updates to senior management with focus on risk, compliance, and efficiency.
∎ Mentor and develop team members to handle operations independently and proactively.
∎ Work closely with the Accounts, Procurement, and Production Planning departments to ensure alignment on commercial operations.

∎ We are a 100% export-oriented composite knit garments manufacturing company aiming to strengthen our commercial operations with enhanced efficiency and compliance. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Commercial Department. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing import-export operations, optimizing L/C processes, and ensuring seamless coordination with regulatory bodies and vendors (but not limited to).
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ Strategic & Compliance Oversight·
