Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Clearing and Forwarding (C and F) Companies

• Bachelor/Honors

• Relevant academic background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an advantage.

• Age 40 to 55 years

* C&F experience is mandatory.

* Strong practical knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding operations.

* Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Customs laws, SROs, HS Codes, valuation, duty, and tax.

* Strong client communication and problem-solving skills.

* Strong understanding of customs procedures and compliance requirements.

* Ability to handle difficult and sensitive shipments.
* Proven experience in handling complex C&F operations and customs matters.

* Freight Forwarding or other relevant trade experience will be an advantage.

* Manage day-to-day Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) operations.

* Handle C&F documentation, port/ICD coordination, and cargo release.

* Support C&F operations for difficult and sensitive shipments.

* Apply the Customs Act, SROs, NBR regulations, and tariff procedures.

* Provide guidance on HS Code classification, valuation, assessment, duty, and tax.

* Resolve customs queries, objections, and assessment-related matters.

* Coordinate with Customs and relevant government authorities.

* Identify and minimize compliance risks in C&F operations.

* Maintain effective communication with clients and support marketing of C&F services.

* Handle complex customs and C&F-related operational matters.
