Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities for Manager:

• Develop and expand import business opportunities to achieve revenue and growth targets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and other business partners.

• Coordinate closely with operations teams in Dhaka, Chattogram, and Benapole to ensure seamless and timely service delivery.

• Monitor freight market trends, global economic developments, carrier performance, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.

• Maintain regular communication with customers, agents, and carriers regarding shipments, pricing, and service requirements.

• Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements to ensure competitive and profitable business outcomes.

• Identify and secure new customers for Air Freight, Sea Freight, Road Freight, and Logistics services.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support and effective problem resolution.

• Attend client meetings, industry events, trade exhibitions, and networking sessions to strengthen business relationships and generate new opportunities.

• Lead, guide, and support the import team to achieve operational and commercial objectives.

• Prepare and present business reports, market analysis, and performance updates to management.
