10+ years of experience in the automobile industry.
Strong and proven experience in EV / Hybrid vehicles is mandatory.
Experience in automobile business development, import, dealership, distribution, or brand representation will be highly preferred.
Candidates with strong connections with international automobile brands/manufacturers will be preferred.
A reputed Group of Companies is looking for an experienced and well-connected Consultant – Business Development (Automobile) to lead and support the development of its automobile business, with a particular focus on Electric Vehicles (EV), Hybrid Vehicles, and emerging automotive technologies.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience and professional networks in the automobile industry, particularly in EV/Hybrid vehicles, vehicle import, dealership, distribution, or business development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies for EV and Hybrid automobile business.
Identify potential international automobile brands, manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, and strategic partners.
Explore opportunities for EV/Hybrid vehicle import, distribution, dealership, and retail business.
Conduct market research on EV/Hybrid vehicle demand, pricing, competitors, and market trends in Bangladesh.
Develop relationships with automobile manufacturers, distributors, dealers, corporate clients, and fleet operators.
Evaluate potential brands and business opportunities and provide recommendations to management.
Support negotiations with international manufacturers, suppliers, and business partners.
Develop business proposals, feasibility studies, market analysis, and investment plans.
Identify opportunities for charging infrastructure, after-sales service, spare parts, and other EV-related businesses.
Maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders in the automobile industry.
Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, exhibitions, and industry events.
Provide regular business development updates and strategic recommendations to top management.
