Requirements (Must-Have & Nice-to-Have)

Must-Have Requirements

• Business-Level English Proficiency: Strong command of business English.

• Demand Forecasting & S&OP Leadership: Proven experience in developing demand forecasting models based on historical sales data and seasonal fluctuations (peak/off-peak seasons in the apparel industry).

• Track Record in Inventory Optimization: Demonstrated ability to manage inventory by balancing safety stock maintenance with excess inventory reduction.

• English Business Communication Skills: Advanced English proficiency (equivalent to TOEIC 800+ or native/fluent level) required for liaising with NICCA CHEMICAL headquarters (Japan), SCM teams in other locations, and local Japanese expatriates.

• Proficiency in ERP/SCM Tools: Hands-on experience operating Demand Planning modules within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Practical Knowledge of Import, Customs, and Logistics: Deep understanding of import procedures in Bangladesh (including L/C issuance, Chittagong Port customs clearance practices, customs regulations, etc.).

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• SCM Experience in Chemicals / B2B Manufacturing: Experience managing inventory and transport for hazardous materials or chemicals with a limited shelf life.

• Textile & Dyeing Industry Network: Insights into demand cycles and industry trends among major apparel, knitting, and dyeing/finishing factories in Bangladesh.
