Must-Have Qualifications

Relevant Industry Experience

3+ years of warehouse management experience in relevant industries, such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paints/coatings, or RMG (Ready-Made Garments) materials.

Experience handling hazardous materials (HazMat) or designated chemical substances.

Hands-on Inventory & Warehouse Management Skills

Proven experience with strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management.

Hands-on experience with data entry and operation using WMS (Warehouse Management System) or SAP/ERP (e.g., MM module).

Experience leading periodic stocktaking/cycle counts and analyzing inventory discrepancies.

HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Knowledge

Ability to understand SDS/MSDS (Safety Data Sheets) and manage materials based on GHS labeling standards.

Experience leading workplace health and safety initiatives (enforcing PPE compliance, spill response, and fire/disaster response training).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Japanese Company Experience

Deep understanding of 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) with the drive to proactively promote them.

Certifications & Regulatory Compliance

Experience operating within ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards.

Basic knowledge of local Bangladeshi chemical storage regulations (such as Fire Service & Civil Defence, Department of Environment, etc.).

Bonded Warehouse Expertise

Understanding of customs and import/export documentation procedures related to EPZs (Export Processing Zones) or bonded warehouse systems in Bangladesh.

Language & Communication

Business-level English proficiency.
