Job Responsibilities:
∎ To manage procurement process against Fabrics booking from Marketing and make comparative statement in terms of quality(Technical parameter), delievry leadtime and price to get it approved by the management .
∎ To allocate PI in the Sales contract/Export LC for opening BBL/C against independent purchase/requisition .
∎ Yarn lot test report analysis and get clearence from Textile QA deptt for bulk order.
∎ To follow up and monitor yarn IH start and close date to match with TNA.
∎ To source yarn from various supplier/country to reduce the purchase cost.
∎ To follow up and monitor sample yarn(Development) purchase and stock position and in house decision as per R&D requirements.
∎ To follow up and monitor machineries and spare parts L/C open and import related all works till clearance from customs.
∎ To check EOQ & Re-order level statement and decide to purchase.
∎ To make sure stock yarn against confirmed order be disbursed to production within 2 working days from the date of In-house Date/ Fabrics Booking Date.
∎ To follow up yarn sample test be carried out within 2 working days from the date of receipt of the sample yarn lot from spinner.
∎ To ensure proper utilization of +100 kgs lot in bulk orders.
∎ To present the report to the management prepared by the store deptt <100 kgs >50 kgs for sample purpose.
∎ To check yarn stock ageing report and ensure utilization of old stock in consultation with SCM Factory & Textile Division .
∎ To get necessary approval from Director (SCM) and Chairman/Director to sell <50 kgs .
∎ To collect and analyze brand and lot-wise process loss statement and evaluate spinner quarterly.
∎ To monitor yarn lot replacement in case of faulty yarn.
∎ 17.To assess store area and maintain minimum stock not more than 1500 MT.
∎ To ensure utilization of stock grey fabrics in consultation with Factory SCM and Textile C.O.O.
∎ To circulate management approved yarn price list in 3rd week of each month .
∎ To check updated import consignment and take corrective measure to release the import consignment well in time.
∎ Yarn & Fabrics stock ageing analysis.
