Responsibilities & Context:

We are a 100% export-oriented renowned woven, top, bottom manufacturing company. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and analytical candidate for the "AGM - Production & IE" position. The incumbent must have initiative, experience and the drive to deliver high-quality results.

• Oversee the entire production floor operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production plans.

• Monitor daily production output, efficiency, and line balancing against planned targets.

• Drive Industrial Engineering (IE) initiatives to improve SMV, CM, line efficiency, and overall productivity.

• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, resource optimization, and process improvement.

• Ensure on-time delivery of all orders by closely monitoring Time & Action (T&A) plans.

• Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to align production schedules with buyer requirements.

• Lead manpower planning, allocation, and training for operators, supervisors, and line chiefs.

• Maintain strict quality control standards across all production stages, ensuring “right first time” output.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions in coordination with IE and technical teams.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and labor regulations within the factory.

• Monitor absenteeism, turnover, and overall labor performance to maintain workforce stability.

• Review machine layout, capacity utilization, and efficiency reports to optimize line setups.

• Ensure maintenance of machines and equipment for uninterrupted operations.

• Analyze production data, efficiency trends, and KPI reports, and present findings to top management.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S across the factory.

• Work closely with QA/QC teams to reduce rejection rates, rework, and wastage.

• Build and maintain discipline, motivation, and performance culture among production teams.

• Liaise with senior management and provide input in strategic decision-making regarding capacity expansion and automation.

• Ensure accurate SMV calculation and garment costing support in coordination with Merchandising/Finance.

• Supervise pre-production activities, sample approvals, pilot runs, and bulk production readiness.

• Manage production planning and control (PPC) in collaboration with the central planning department.

• Build strong relationships with buyers, auditors, and external stakeholders during visits or audits.

• Implement digital monitoring systems (MIS/ERP) to track real-time production performance.

• Ensure ethical practices and compliance with social, technical, and environmental audit requirements.

• Lead crisis management during order pressure, production delays, or unexpected disruptions.
