Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Hospital Medical Services, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

Skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Experience in Clinical Coordination and Medical Administration.
• Knowledge of Clinical Audit, Medical Audit, NABH/JCI or healthcare quality standards will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and work under pressure.

Other Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Hospital Medical Services, including managerial or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in Clinical Administration, Hospital Operations, or Medical Services Management is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information System (HIS) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Clinical Audit, Medical Audit, Quality Assurance, and Hospital Accreditation Standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and report preparation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make effective operational decisions.
• Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to patient-centered healthcare.

Aurora Specialized Hospital, located in the heart of Dhaka, is inviting applications from experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented medical professionals for the position of AGM (Medical Services). This leadership role is responsible for overseeing medical operations, ensuring quality healthcare services, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the hospital.

Job Description:

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Medical Services Department.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services.
• Coordinate with consultants, medical officers, nursing services, and other departments to maintain smooth clinical operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor hospital clinical policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor quality indicators and conduct clinical audits to improve patient safety and healthcare outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations, hospital accreditation standards, and internal policies.
• Lead and coordinate infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Investigate clinical incidents, patient complaints, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on medical service performance for management.
• Organize medical training, CMEs, workshops, and clinical orientation programs.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and support accreditation processes.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
