∎ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
∎ 12+ years in fabric sourcing, preferably in apparel or textile manufacturing.
∎ Strong vendor network across domestic and international fabric markets.
∎ Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
∎ Working knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing standards.
∎ Proficiency in sourcing systems and ERP platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute efficient fabric sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, production plans, and seasonal demand forecasts.
∎ Identify, evaluate, and onboard new fabric suppliers and mills, both locally and internationally, to expand sourcing options and ensure supply chain agility.
∎ Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships while leading price, lead time, and contract negotiations to ensure best-in-class terms.
∎ Partner with design and merchandising teams to source trend-relevant and innovative fabrics that meet collection and customer requirements.
∎ Manage end-to-end procurement—from PO issuance to fabric delivery—ensuring timelines are met to avoid production disruptions.
∎ Collaborate with QA teams to ensure all sourced fabrics meet required standards, resolving quality issues with suppliers as needed.
∎ Monitor fabric cost trends, perform benchmarking, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.
∎ Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of sourcing activities, contracts, and compliance with environmental and ethical standards.
∎ Generate sourcing performance reports, track KPIs, and highlight potential risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
∎ Lead, coach, and manage the sourcing team to drive performance, foster collaboration, and support professional growth.
