Experience Requirements

  • 12–15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Tax, Finance, or Accounts.
  • At least 4–5 years in a senior managerial role within a reputed RMG, manufacturing, or large corporate organization.
  • Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Finance Act, and related regulations.
  • Experience in handling tax assessments, audits, and corporate tax planning is essential.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professional for the position of AGM – Corporate Tax to oversee all corporate tax matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic tax planning support for a leading RMG group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws.
  • Prepare, review, and submit corporate income tax returns and related statutory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act, VAT regulations, and other applicable tax laws.
  • Coordinate with tax authorities during assessments, audits, and inspections.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on their business implications.
  • Manage advance tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and other corporate tax obligations.
  • Review tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and tax-related financial reporting.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Identify tax risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Support management with tax planning for new investments, business restructuring, and expansion projects.
