Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop & update WARD level action plans on monthly and quarterly basis, update targets and implement action plan accordingly in collaboration with Urban Nutrition Facilitators and Project Coordinator under the technical support from UNICEF.
∎ Maintain coordination at implementation level with city corporation health facilities, adolescent clubs, secondary Schools and other sectors supported by UNICEF and CCC and ensure monthly implementation/progress report against the targets/expected results
∎ Maintain linkage for service delivery and referral linkage at slum and health facility level with CCC health service providers, Secondary Schools and other partners to ensure convergence and synergy.
∎ Follow up and monitor effectiveness of adolescent nutrition counseling sessions organized and facilitated by Adolescent Peer leaders and implementation of targeted interventions (deworming, weekly IFA supplementation etc).
∎ Conduct field visits (independent or joint) to observe adolescent nutrition counseling sessions (15 session/month) at different slums
∎ Provide necessary technical support to a network of 50 adolescent groups for “On the Job” training to Adolescent Peer leaders on adolescent nutrition at slum level and also conduct training as and when necessary.
∎ Support City Corporation and MoHFW and other partners for implementation and monitoring of national events and coordination meeting at the WARD counselor office; provide verbal and written reports of activities completed.
∎ Any other responsibilities may be assigned by Urban Nutrition Facilitator and Project Coordinator as and when required.
