Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitoring and supervision over factory from opening until closing period.
∎ Ensuring man and machine status is in place under standard operating procedures.
∎ Maintain housekeeping and 5S policy in factory.
∎ Security post monitoring, bill checking, supervision over goods transaction.
∎ Ensure worker occupational health and safety.
∎ Suggest factory management for elimination of inconsistencies on the basis of audited findings.
∎ Support in developing policy related to safety, health, hygiene that is aligned with Bangladesh labour law, buyer's code of conduct and international standard.
∎ Assess the requirement of various personal protective equipment (PPE) during work.
∎ Ensure canteen facilities are up to the mark which good environment and hygiene maintained.
∎ Monitoring utility facilities in the factory (available drinking water, electricity, gas, uninterrupted power supply).
∎ Monitoring wastage management and disposal/sale.
∎ Ensure medical support and attention is available when needed. Contracted with hospitals and clinics nearby for worker/staff well-being and medical attention.
∎ Manage local authorities and stakeholders.
