Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, sharp, and highly motivated Admin and Procurement Executive with a solid background in the construction industry. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our corporate office and active project sites. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality building materials, negotiating with subcontractors, managing vendors, and handling the day-to-day administrative operations that keep our projects running smoothly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supply Chain Management
Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and subcontractors for construction materials (e.g., steel, cement, MEP supplies, finishing materials) and equipment hire.
Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising structural or architectural quality.
PO Management: Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) based on Material Requisitions (MRs) sent by site engineers and project managers.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate timely delivery of materials to various construction sites, troubleshooting delays or supply chain bottlenecks as they arise.
. Quality & Compliance: Ensure all procured materials meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. Handle returns or discrepancies with suppliers.
Office & Site Administration
Documentation & Billing: Verify vendor invoices against delivery orders (DOs) and POS; resolve discrepancies and coordinate with the finance team for timely payments.
Contract Management: Maintain organized digital and physical records of subcontractor agreements, legal permits, insurance certificates, and warranties.
Site Liaison: Act as the primary administrative point of contact for Site In-Charges and Project Managers regarding office supplies, petty cash, worker welfare amenities, and basic site equipment.
Compliance & Licensing: Assist in obtaining and renewing necessary local authority permits, licenses, and safety certifications required for project execution. Requirements & Qualifications
