Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Association for Social Advancement (BASA) a national level Non Government Organization (NGO) is started to implement a project titled "Economic Enhancement through Strengthening Beef and Goat Value Chain (BD2015)" at Mirzapur Upazila under Tangail District with the support of Heifer International Bangladesh. We are looking for suitable, qualified and competent candidates to fill up the position mentioned below:
∎ Job Location: Mirzapur Upazila under Tangail District

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain books of accounts properly.
∎ Assist in budget preparation and fund utilization planning.
∎ Prepare financial report on a regular basis timely and accurately.
∎ Update and follow up financial record keeping at Project Partners and SHGs.
∎ Coordinate with project staffs and CP finance person on deliverables of bank transactions and reconciliation record.
∎ Maintain Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
∎ Ensure standard book keeping during procurement of inputs and services.
∎ Coordinate internal and external audit.
∎ Coordinate and share quarterly fund cash flow of project with PMC and Project Partners and Heifer office.
∎ Preparation of fund request letter with required documentation.
∎ Ability to generate report through accounting software(s).
∎ Ensure and follow up group records.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in NGOs/development sector especially in the Char context / Food security/ Poverty reduction/ Small Farmers and Ultra Poor projects
∎ Graduate in accounting or finance.
∎ Good Computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Software and internet).
∎ At least 3 years of experience in accounts management.
∎ Willing to work and committed to communities and poor families.
∎ Creative and humble (Can achieve equal status in the minds of project participants).
∎ Good budgeting skills.
∎ Language: should have good command in both written and spoken Bengali and English

Salary:
∎ Tk.25000

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per project design.
