At least 1 year of working experience in administration/accounts position is preferable. The position is fixed for both female and male candidates. Also, need the following requirement for the desire candidate:
Willingly travel in the project areas when needed.
Demonstrate active listening.
Demonstrate good communication skills.
Besides above, time to time special assignment as a when required basis
Good communication skill both on Bengali & English
Reimburse travel expenses and per diem bills to the project office staff
Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the Administrative Manager and Finance Manager

Writing of cheque and maintenance of cheque books.

CWFD emerged from an emotional response to help women in need of reproductive health care counseling. The organization, originally named “Concerned Women for Family Planning (CWFP), started its voluntary activities in 1974 to help the refugees coming to Dhaka city after the devastating famine of 1974. The organization was registered in 1975 with The Directorate of Social Welfare and formally launched its project activities in 1976 with only five female staff to cover an area of Dhaka city slum comprising around 50,000 people. Expected Programme Output(s): Adolescents and youth will have increased access to gender-transformative, SRHR life skills and lifesaving awareness-raising with specific focus on prevention of child marriage.
Programme background: Concerned Women for Family Development will receive funds from United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to implement Adolescents and Youth Programme. This programme aims to provide adolescents with access to information and services that strengthen their ability to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and protect their wellbeing. Gender specific, GBV focused, structured, short-term life skills education programme (Girl Shine) will be delivered to adolescents and young women ages (10-19 years). Mental health, healthy coping strategies and psychosocial support will be prioritized through these activities. Specific focus will be given to adolescent girls who are at risk of and are affected by child and forced marriages. Adolescent girls and young women will be provided with tailored menstrual hygiene kits and education on menstrual health management. The latter will focus on overcoming taboos in regards to menstrual health and challenge social and gender barriers such as imposing movement restrictions for menstruating girls. UNFPA will also ensure that life skills sessions are delivered to adolescent boys through the Champions of Change (CoC) curriculum.
CWFD also implementing a national humanitarian programme with funding support from UNFPA. As part of this, CWFD is working with UNFPA to implement the national humanitarian response, the A&Y unit received funds which will be implemented in the Noakhali District titled: “Urgent Support to Women and Girls in Noakhali District and Bhasan Char (Island): Sexual and Reproductive Health and Gender Based Violence prevention and response service”
Along with strengthening community awareness, UNFPA will work on increasing the motivation of parents and older adolescent girls in preventing child marriage. Incentives will be provided to the households of older adolescent girls as a means of continued motivation for preventing this harmful practice against girls. Furthermore, Kishori (adolescent girls) Resource Centre will be established in Noakhali district to organize adolescent girl’s empowerment trainings, support local government to prevent child marriage, and conduct behavior change communication activities. Girls who are already married will be supported through SRHR services to help them avoid early and repeated pregnancy.

I. Job Summary:
The Accounts and Administrative Assistant is responsible for implementation of planned activities of Adolescents & Youth Programme which include a) Life Skills Education Programme; b) Digital Life Skills education programme; and c) UNFPA’s humanitarian programme for adolescents & youth in targeted areas in the UNFPA targeted areas under its 10th Country Programme and current project activities such as maintaining general accounts, administrative activities in the assigned area of operation and to provide extensively assist to Administrative Manager and Finance Manager, as well as and other concern officials under those programmes. He/ She will provide support to maintain coordination with respective bank, service providers of the operational areas.
The Accounts & Administrative Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Administrative Manager and Finance Manager of those programme. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the implementation of quality program interventions. The Accounts & Administrative Assistant will maintain coordination and liaison with all the programme stakeholders.
Major responsibilities
Monthly Salary: BDT 36,896/- per month (including all other benefits).
