  • Strong administrative, management, and motivational skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills, both in Bangla and English.

  • Knowledge in applications of Software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,

  • Microsoft PowerPoint.



Responsibilities & Context:

Location: The position will be based at the project office with frequent field visits.

Concerned Women for Family Development (CWFD) emerged in 1975 from a humanitarian response to help women in need of reproductive health care and counseling. Gradually, it became a registered organization and implemented various projects with support from different development partners in many areas of Bangladesh. Its vision is to empower women, youths, and adolescents to achieve gender equality and social justice within the family and society. The CWFD’s mission is to support, promote, and protect the interests of women in Bangladesh by providing community-based health care, empowering underprivileged adolescents and youth, providing legal support to girls and women who are victims of domestic violence, and developing human resources for positive social change. Currently, CWFD is implementing a project named Integrated TB Care and Prevention, which is funded by the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria through BRAC

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implementation:

  • Supervise and provide technical support to initiate anti-TB treatment of TB patients according to NTP guidelines.

  • Monitor contact investigation, TPT, and DR-TB patients in the assigned geographic area of implementation.

  • Support BRAC and NTP to strengthen the health system for integrated TB prevention and control.

  • Ensure implementation of National TB/PPM/DR TB/ TB-HIV/TPT/High-Risk population guidelines and SoPs.

  • Conduct Periodic data analysis and review to track program performances, following national guidelines and reaching national objectives and goal.

  • Attend meetings at different levels to represent program performances

  • Ensure optimum utilization of resources for smooth implementation of the TB Programme.

  • Monitor and supervise the implementation of the TB programme with an extensive field visit.

  • Prepare a periodic action-taking report based on previous findings.

  • Coordinate and support the organization of various TB control activities in the appropriate geographic areas.

  • Assist in identifying training needs and ensure staff receive appropriate training.

  • Supervise and provide support for proper recording of patients and updating information to ensure improved case detection and treatment success.

  • Coordinate and support presumptive referrals and complex cases to designated facilities for further diagnosis and management.

  • Facilitate staff meetings to review progress and develop

  • actions for further improvement of the programme.

  • Coordinate with NTP to ensure the availability of anti-TB drugs and other supplies.

  • Coordinate and provide support to the field staff for well-functioning GeneX-pert sites to identify and treat the missing cases.

  • Monitoring, supervision, and coordination:

  • Maintain regular coordination with the BRAC, government, and other stakeholders in implementing TB Control activities.

  • Monitor project activities and supervise the work of the supervisory staff directly through regular field visits and by providing technical assistance.

  • Supervise and coordinate the quality assurance and surveillance system

  • Ensure contract investigation is actively in the respective areas for strengthening case findings

  • Reporting and dissemination:

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting as per the agreement.

  • Ensure to report to BRAC and NTP as needed.

  • Prepare and submit a periodic field visit report as per the action plan.



Job Other Benifits:
    • Full-time salary range: Tk.55,600/- (Fifty-five thousand six hundred) per month, with no additional benefits.
