Transport of Patient 

Carrying the patient with care from hospital to hospital / home to hospital / hospital to home / accident site to hospital by ambulance services.

In case of any kind of emergency situation treating the patient in the ambulance in consultation with doctors.

Extended Responsibilities:

Extending help in areas of Emergency for patient care.

Responsible for quality patientcare as established by the Department;

Carries out all instructions effectively and efficiently.

Good technical knowledge and skill.

Recognizes and analyses the patient needs

On duty in the Accident and Emergency Department and Ambulance services is responsible for carrying out the care plan as per the order of physician in charge of the patient

Responsible to administer medications after following the six rights of medications

Ensures patient safety and care during transfer of the patient to and from other Hospitals and Departments

Maintains effective communication with physician on duty at hospital to relate patient condition and obtain orders for treatment;

Responsible for quality patientcare as established by the Department;

Maintains his / her professional dignity at all times
