Education:
∎ • Master’s degree in Accounting / MBA (Major in Accounting) from a recognized university.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge and skills in accounting principles, record keeping, and financial reporting.
∎ High-level IT skills including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and accounting software.
∎ Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports efficiently.
∎ Strong time management and organizational skills.
∎ Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is mandatory.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
∎ Strong commitment to gender sensitivity and child protection.
∎ Selected candidate must sign compliance forms related to Gender Policy, Child Protection Policy, Safeguarding Policy, Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy, and Anti-Corruption Policy.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain and update books of accounts, including petty cash, cheque registers, staff attendance, office stock, and purchase records.
∎ Record financial transactions as per International Accounting Standards (IAS) or Bangladesh Standard of Accounting (BSA).
∎ Ensure VAT & Tax compliance, timely deduction, and submission to the government treasury.
∎ Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, inventory reports, and budget variance analysis as per donor guidelines.
∎ Process fund requests and ensure timely disbursement of project funds.
∎ Ensure smooth procurement by following organizational and donor guidelines.
∎ Prepare ToRs/agreements with vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
∎ Organize logistics for meetings, training sessions, workshops, and campaigns.
∎ Oversee payroll processing and ensure all salaries are disbursed via bank transfer.
∎ Maintain proper HR documentation and personnel files.
∎ Work closely with the program team to provide necessary financial and admin support.
∎ Assist in capacity building of project staff on financial guidelines and best practices.
∎ Ensure internal control measures and minimize financial risks.
∎ Maintain proper documentation to support audits and donor compliance checks.
∎ Be ready to present financial documents to internal and external stakeholders upon request.
∎ Adhere to and promote Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
∎ Reports to: Project Coordinator & Executive Director
∎ Works closely with: Project coordinator & HR Team, Field Officers, and Donor Representatives

∎ Job Context
∎ Chandradip Development Society (CDS) is going to implement the "Empowering Fisher Folk Women through Information and Inclusion" project in collaboration with Samajik Unnayan Sangstha (SUS) and media partner Report71.com. The project aims to improve information access, digital literacy, and social inclusion among fisher folk women, particularly the marginalized Mantha community, by strengthening advocacy, media engagement, and participatory governance.
∎ We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Accounts & Admin Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective financial support to the supervisor to ensure implement the projects and program timely and professional payment to staff and suppliers and accurate and transparent financial records following all organizational policies and legal requirements.
∎ Major Responsibilities
∎ Financial Management & Reporting:

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The salary package is monthly BDT 35,000, excluding admissible benefits like Mobile bill, Transport Bill, TA/DA during official in-country travel
