Job Context:
∎ RHSTEP is the pioneer non-government organization in the arena of safe MR services and training for more than three decades in Bangladesh. RHSTEP has continuing its activities in 20 districts of Bangladesh. Every year approximately 6,50,000 women, men including youth adolescents and children receive health care services, education and awareness support through its 27 centers.
∎ S/He needs to take charge of the Financial Management Systems including supervision of Store & procurement and ensure establishment of sound, transparent and sustainable accounting systems and processes. The ideal candidate should thrive in a competitive, performance driven culture that is aligned with the mission of Right Here Right Now-2 (RHRN2). The candidate should have a proven track record at overcoming challenges, documenting achievements, and quantifying results. Keeping track of all kinds of financial activities in the organization including periodic reporting with confidence and maintain confidentiality of financial issues.
∎ Accounts and Admin Officer for Right Here Right Now-2 (RHRN2) project of RHSTEP Central Office.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
∎ Document financial transactions by entering account information.
∎ Maintain accounting controls by preparing the necessary background papers.
∎ Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
∎ Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
∎ Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information.
∎ Maintain Cash Voucher, Bank Voucher, Cash Book, Bank Book.
∎ Maintain Cash Scroll, Bank Scroll, VAT and Tax etc.
∎ Prepare the necessary documents for procuring goods and services.
∎ Prepare the supporting documents for the procurement committee.
∎ Perform the day to day administrative work for the RHRN2.
∎ Supervise the tasks of the other support staff of the RHRN2.
∎ Be responsible for the files and records of the RHRN2.
∎ Maintain the records of the IEC material of the RHRN2.
∎ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
∎ Knowledge on managing finance and administration policy.
∎ Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Complexity of thinking needed.
∎ Computer skills (Word processing, Spreadsheet, Accounting Software Tally etc.).
∎ Ability to analyze data, situations of problems, evaluated possible courses of action and chooses.
∎ Take reasoned decisions, usually based on policy, established process, precedents or common sense.
∎ Decision mostly about work processes-How to do rather that what to do.
∎ Information Technology Skills needed.
∎ Proficiency to use standard software at an advanced level, typically this would include minor programming using macros, mail merge, customized reports, developing audio, visual presentations, etc. with occasional assistance.
∎ Advanced skills in windows operating system, LAN and internet.
∎ Complex use of simple systems.
∎ The job holder should be a skilled, responsible, discreet, organized, analytical, proactive and motivated professional with a good common sense, an ample service attitude and good interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work in a team and under pressure keeping focus on the objectives.
∎ Good communication, good organizational and time management skills with customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to work accurately with interruptions to meet deadlines.
∎ Willingness and ability to work with different nationalities and as a member of a multidisciplinary and diverse work team.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 35,000 (Consolidated).
