  • Experience using digital collaboration and design tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Canva, Adobe Suite basics).



Responsibilities & Context:

RHSTEP, a pioneer non-government organization with over three decades of experience in promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Bangladesh, is launching the project "Unlocking Youth Potential for SRHR and Health System Reform in Bangladesh" to address critical gaps in adolescent health, SRHR, and health system equity. With operations in 20 districts and annual service provision to approximately 650,000 individuals through 27 centers, RHSTEP remains at the forefront of delivering essential SRHR services, education, and awareness.

The Unlocking Youth Potential Initiative is a dynamic, multi-year project designed to empower young people through skills development, digital literacy, and civic engagement. We leverage innovative multimedia and digital outreach strategies to connect with, inspire, and mobilize youth across [target region/country].

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and digitally-savvy Deputy Project Manager (DPM) to support the overall coordination, implementation, and reporting of the Unlocking Youth Potential initiative. The DPM will play a critical role in ensuring our multimedia-driven youth engagement and digital outreach components are innovative, effective, and aligned with our mission of fostering inclusive youth participation.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Implementation:

  • Assist the Project Manager in the detailed planning, execution, and day-to-day management of all project activities.
  • Support the development of work plans, budgets, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Monitor project progress against set timelines, milestones, and deliverables, identifying and mitigating risks.

Multimedia & Digital Team Leadership:

  • Coordinate and supervise the multimedia, social media, and digital content creation teams.
  • Ensure all digital outputs (videos, graphics, podcasts, social campaigns) are high-quality, on-brand, and strategically aligned with project goals and youth engagement objectives.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes for all digital and communication materials.

Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a key liaison with project partners, trainers, consultants, and youth groups/ambassadors.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure smooth implementation and broad-based buy-in.
  • Represent the project in relevant meetings and forums as required.

Reporting, Documentation & Communication:

  • Support the Project Manager in preparing timely and accurate donor reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
  • Contribute to drafting communication materials for diverse audiences, including donors, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Maintain organized and accessible project files and knowledge management systems.

Strategy & Innovation:

  • Champion youth-centered and gender-sensitive approaches in all project activities.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of innovative communication and digital engagement strategies to maximize impact and reach.
  • Stay abreast of trends in youth culture, digital media, and social innovation.
