Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
∎ Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) course complete preferred.

Job Context:
∎ The position is at a food processing plant in Chittagong. The company has been in operations under current management since 2005 and is 100% export oriented. You will be joining a mid sized but growing team of hardworking individuals.
∎ The company is looking for a dynamic accounting executive. The candidate must be able to handle all accounting requirements of a mid-sized factory and at the same time, ensure all VAT and tax compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle all day to day accounting activities of a food processing plant.
∎ Ensure accuracy of all financial data.
∎ Prepare all financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements at regular intervals.
∎ Aid the executive team with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
∎ Work with IT vendors to update accounting software to ensure greater efficiency and accuracy.
∎ Ensure all VAT and tax compliance requirements.
∎ Liaison with regulatory authorities in case of any noncompliance.
∎ Stay up to date with all accounting and tax policies, rules and regulations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' experience in an accounting or finance position.
∎ Experience with preparing annual financial statement of a company.
∎ Excellent IT skills including expertise of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and any accounting software.
∎ Knowledge of labor law, tax/VAT law, companies act, etc. required.
∎ Excellent level of interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
∎ Be enthusiastic, hardworking, committed and result oriented.
∎ Be a capable team-player.
∎ Be a good leader.
∎ Be proficient in Bangla and English
∎ Be very curious with a drive to learn new things
∎ Have a detailed oriented and analytical mind focused on problem solving
