Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required with extensive knowledge of refrigeration technology.
∎ Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Job Context:
∎ The position is at a food processing plant in Chittagong. The company has been in operations under current management since 2005 and is 100% export oriented. You will be joining a mid sized but growing team of hardworking individuals.
∎ The company is looking for a dynamic engineer. The food processing plant has multiple machineries including plate freezers, IQF machines, blast freezer, cold storages, ice flake machines, gas and diesel generators, ETP and all supporting machineries that require constant maintenance and upgrade. The successful candidate will have to find innovative, cost saving solutions to upgrade the factory`s infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee & monitor the engineering activities throughout the factory.
∎ Plan and organize maintenance schedule.
∎ Train & motivate the machine maintenance team to ensure schedule maintenance, preventive maintenance, opportunity maintenance and shutdown maintenance for all equipment and machinery.
∎ Ensure random inspection of all machinery and equipment.
∎ Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all machineries to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
∎ Set up and implement new standard operating procedure based on HAACP rules and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' experience in a mechanical engineering position.
∎ Excellent command on Mechanical Maintenance.
∎ Excellent IT skills including expertise of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
∎ Excellent level of interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
∎ Be enthusiastic, hardworking, committed and result oriented.
∎ Be a capable team-player.
∎ Be a good leader.
∎ Be proficient in Bangla and English.
∎ Be very curious with a drive to learn new things.
∎ Have a detailed oriented and analytical mind focused on problem solving.
