Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
∎ Preference will be given to candidates who have completed any tax or VAT related training/course.
∎ Preference will be given to candidates who have completed Chartered Accountant (CA) course.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounting, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Income Tax and VAT
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle all day to day accounting activities of an export oriented company.
∎ Maintain and update the company's financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, petty cash management and bank reconciliation
∎ Ensure accuracy of all financial data and monitor various risk management tools.
∎ Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to the management team.
∎ Aid the executive team with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
∎ Monitor VAT and Tax related compliance i.e., review monthly V AT return, adjusting entry of VAT as per VAT Return, compliance checking TDS & VDS on payments.
∎ Stay up to date with all accounting and tax policies, rules and regulations and banking products.
∎ Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
∎ Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to optimize financial services and funding arrangements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ At least 5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance position. Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
∎ Experience with preparing annual financial statement of a company.
∎ Up to date knowledge of accounting practices, tax and VAT regulations.
∎ Excellent IT skills including expertise of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
∎ Experience working with accounting software, preferably Tally software.
∎ Excellent level of interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
∎ Be enthusiastic, hardworking, committed result oriented and a capable team-player.
∎ Be proficient in Bangla and English.
∎ Have a detailed oriented and analytical mind focused on problem solving.
