Responsibilities & Context:
∎ A Reputed leading internationally recognized manufacturing company in Bangladesh. Our excellence in providing quality products through diversification of skills and knowledge as well as excellent dedicated workforce. We are currently looking for an experienced Production Officer/Sr. Production Officer for one of our reputed Spinning factory.
∎ • Receive and process payments, balance cash and prepare bank deposits; manage petty cash fund and handle disbursement.
∎ • Implement and update daily cash book, material, stock register and other register.
∎ • Coordinating with Bank for daily transaction and maintain bank book and cheque book.
∎ • Preparation of payments and handwritten checks and process related reports.
∎ • Assist with preparing, reviewing and verifying purchase/Sales orders, vendor invoices and related documentation, and confirm authorization; maintain purchase/ Sales files and prepare register.
∎ • Planning and execution of the Income Tax & VAT management system with a proper understanding of the business nature of the company.
∎ • Ensure maintenance of all VAT related register as per New VAT & SD Act keeping record in NBR approved VAT software and own MS-Excel.
∎ • Monitor and coordinate all the statutory compliance as per Income Tax Ordinance 1984, VAT & SD Act and other rules and regulations.
∎ • Computation of Income-tax based on the company's financial statements and other information related to the tax return and guided by NBR directives.
∎ • Ensure the submission of Income Tax return in due time.
∎ • Attend the hearing and explain the position of the company before the DCT for the purpose of completion of the assessment.
∎ • Monitor withholding tax management system following NBR's latest directives.
∎ • Ensure VAT rebate papers (if any) and get them approved from the concerned VAT official.
∎ • Handling of VAT audit conducted by VAT authorities.
∎ • Maintain liaison and closely work with Tax & VAT circle offices and solve the barriers related to company Tax & VAT issues.
