  partnership documentation standards, and event coordination within the

  Bangladeshi context.

• Familiarity with local contexts and managing diverse partners is essential

• Quality control and asset review

The Cultural Olympiad project under BRAC Youth Platform aims to foster empathy, tolerance, and cultural diversity among Bangladeshi youth through arts and cultural engagement in schools. By organizing competitions from district to national levels, the initiative seeks to promote holistic development, celebrate cultural diversity, and reduce social intolerance. The project will engage youth ambassadors and build strategic partnerships to institutionalize arts education and advance inclusive values across communities

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the Cultural Olympiad, ensuring inclusive school engagement, efficient operational management, strategic collaboration with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage target schools through inclusive area mapping across diverse regions

• Oversee budgeting, HR, and procurement to ensure smooth project operations.

• Prepare and manage partnership and agreement documents in line with organizational standards

• Implement the Cultural Olympiad as per the project plan, ensuring timely coordination of activities.

• Coordinate with schools, creatives, event teams, and media for cohesive and successful execution.

• Review and approve event assets to ensure brand consistency and quality

• Lead national event coordination, capture success stories, and share learnings for future programs.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
