Experience:

• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Computer Science & Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology
• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor's degree in CSE, IT, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Practical experience and strong portfolio will be prioritized.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development

• Prior experience in E-commerce, E-commerce Startups, or F-commerce is highly preferred — especially with projects involving affiliate websites, Google AdSense monetization, guest posting platforms, or niche content websites

• Proven freelance experience in WordPress development (portfolio required)

• Understanding of SEO fundamentals is a plus

Proficient in:

• SEO Tools (Yoast, Rank Math, Google Search Console)

• Popular WordPress page builders

• Google Workspace, Slack, Trello/ClickUp

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus)

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, high-performing websites using WordPress

• Strong experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi is highly preferred; ability to create responsive and visually appealing pages is essential

• Implement on-page SEO strategies to improve visibility and performance

• Experience in creating and managing custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields

• Handle plugin and theme customizations to meet client-specific requirements

• Troubleshoot bugs, fix UI/UX issues, and optimize page load speeds

• Collaborate with the internal team for project planning, execution, and delivery

• Maintain documentation and ensure clean, scalable code

WordPress Development & Theme Customization

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and child themes

• Modify existing templates based on project requirements

• Convert designs from PSD, Figma, or Adobe XD into responsive WordPress themes

Plugin Management & Customization

• Install, configure, and extend WordPress plugins as needed

• Build custom plugins to meet specific functionalities

Website Optimization

• Speed up websites using caching, lazy loading, and other optimization tools

• Minify CSS/JS files, reduce server requests, and implement CDN for faster load times

Security & Maintenance

• Implement WordPress security best practices to prevent threats and vulnerabilities

• Regularly update themes, plugins, and core files

• Set up backup systems and recovery strategies

Additional Features

• Ensure all custom features and designs are fully responsive across desktops, tablets, and mobiles

• Build custom forms, manage user roles, and implement unique functionalities

SEO & Marketing Integration

• Apply technical SEO techniques (meta tags, schema, sitemaps, Google Webmaster Tools)

• Integrate Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Facebook Pixel for marketing tracking

Database & Server Management

• Manage MySQL databases and perform migrations

• Handle domain setup, hosting configuration, and SSL certificate installation

• Troubleshoot server-related issues when necessary
