Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical Coordinator will report to the Women and Adolescent Empowerment Technical Lead. The responsibilities of the Technical Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:
∎ Support the Women and Adolescent Empowerment Technical Lead in developing relevant training tools and materials
∎ Facilitate training and refresher training to implementing partner staff; enable them to conduct women's empowerment related training to target beneficiaries.
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to implementing partners, sub-awardees and grantees for the implementation of annual workplan activities as per the project's gender and adolescent empowerment strategy.
∎ Liaise with relevant national and regional government departments, NGOs and other relevant platforms for collaborative activities.
∎ Undertake regular field visits to selected Upazials of Khulna, Faridpur, Patuakhali, Jessore, Barguna, Rajbari and Cox's Bazar districts to supervise and monitor field implementation.
∎ Provide inputs and contribute to weekly updates and monthly progress reports, summarizing progress achievements, challenges and learning.
∎ Contribute to the development of detailed annual work plans and budgets, ensuring coordination, planning and integration of gender and adolescent programming across the project portfolio.
∎ Coordinate with sub-awardees, grantees, Finance & Admin team for the timely submission and processing of invoices.
∎ Assist technical lead in organizing workshops, events.
∎ Other duties as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years of district level working and implementation experience on women and adolescent empowerment
∎ Excellent understanding of adolescent and women's empowerment issues at a programmatic level
∎ Experienced in developing training modules and providing training on women's empowerment
∎ Prior experience working on donor-funded projects, preferably with USAID
∎ Confidence and ability to manage, coordinate NGO and other partners, foster teamwork, and ensure high standards of implementation
∎ Willingness to travel to the ZoI and ZOR at least 50% of the time
∎ Excellent English language proficiency
∎ Report writing skills
