Responsibilities & Context:
  • Raising worker awareness of company rules, policies, regulations, procedures, and workplace discipline.

  • Organizing induction and orientation programs for newly joined employees.

  • Conducting counseling for employees regarding absenteeism, lateness, misconduct, and other workplace concerns to improve attendance and discipline.

  • Supporting line management by counseling employees facing performance or behavioral challenges.

  • Developing and implementing monthly and annual employee welfare and training plans.

  • Conducting awareness and training programs in compliance with company requirements and buyers' Codes of Conduct (CoC), maintaining all necessary records and documentation.

  • Coordinating internal and external training programs as required.

  • Arranging Participation Committee (PC) meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and maintaining related records.

  • Managing employee grievance mechanisms, including grievance box monitoring, investigation, and resolution follow-up.

  • Conducting regular floor visits to ensure a safe, healthy, hygienic, and worker-friendly working environment.

  • Monitoring employee facilities, including the canteen, washrooms, toilets, drinking water points, and prayer rooms, to ensure proper standards are maintained.

  • Maintaining welfare-related checklists, reports, and compliance records as per company and buyer requirements.

  • Conducting regular employee awareness sessions on health, safety, company policies, workplace discipline, and welfare issues.

  • Following up on employee welfare matters, including maternity benefits and statutory welfare support.

  • Coordinating employee separation processes and maintaining records for long-term absent employees.

  • Monitoring absenteeism, lateness, and other workforce-related trends, and preparing relevant reports.

  • Liaising with HR, Compliance, and Management to ensure effective implementation of welfare initiatives.

  • Performing any other duties assigned by management.
